About I Need Products
Local sourcing support built around observable facts
I Need Products is a Shanghai-based sourcing support service for overseas buyers. We help clarify product requests, research manufacturers, check supplier information and gather agreed on-site evidence when a factory visit is justified.
Working principles
How we approach the work
Buyer-side independence
The buyer pays for verification work. We do not take a hidden commission from the factory being checked.
Evidence before conclusions
We distinguish available records, direct observations, supplier statements and items that could not be verified.
Clear scope before payment
The service, travel zone and any specialist or third-party cost are confirmed before payment.
Practical local access
Our Shanghai base provides initial coverage in Jinshan and South Shanghai, with nearby access into parts of the Yangtze River Delta.
Process
A direct working process
- 01
Start with the product, supplier, order context or concern you already have
- 02
Assess what can reasonably be checked remotely and what needs direct evidence
- 03
Confirm the scope, deliverables, travel and price before work begins
- 04
Report findings in plain language, including limitations and unresolved questions
Scope
Important service boundaries
- Sourcing research and visits are not accredited certification or laboratory testing
- The service does not provide legal advice or guarantee future supplier performance
- Technical engineering and specialist audits require separately scoped professionals
- On-site access, photography and live video depend on prior supplier agreement
Local presence
Shanghai-based coverage
Standard coverage begins in Jinshan and South Shanghai, with nearby access to Songjiang, Fengxian, Pinghu and parts of Jiaxing. Visits elsewhere in China are reviewed and quoted case by case according to the factory location.
